I am excited to announce that I moved to a new location this last weekend. I am expanding a bit more and found a bigger space which will accommodate my airbrush tanning business growth and the academy. It was a tough move especially since my spray booth had to be uninstalled and then reinstalled in my new location. My new location will be at: 12500 Riverside Drive, Suite 213, Studio City/Valley Village, CA 91607. I am located right next to Cardio Barre and on top of the Medeteranian Restaurant. |

The 70th annual Golden Globe awards will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2013. And with little more than a week until red-carpet roll out, one Los Angeles spray tanning service is urging industry clients to book their spray tans early: Simone Emmons, spray tan expert and owner of Simone’s Airbrush Tanning service says: “Give yourself a 1-2-day lead time before an important event to ensure an even complexion and the desired skin tone.” ‘Orange tint’, a term used to describe skin that is unnaturally dark with an orange-like tone, can happen when tanning solution is applied improperly or when a technician fails to evaluate a customer’s skin, says Emmons. |

I've been asked many times about my opinion on Self Tanning Lotions vs. Airbrush Tans. Years ago when airbrush tanning did not excist, I would have told you that self tanning cream/lotions is the way to go because it was the safer way to get a tan. But now I really strongly believe that Airbrush Tanning is the better way to get a tan. Before Airbrush Tanning existed I used to always use Sunless tanning lotions. It was great and at that time my favorite sun tanning lotion was the Bare Mineral Faux Tan brand as it looked really natural and did not have a strong self tanner smell. |
